The best for the losing side was American guard Brandon Knight (190-1991, college: Kentucky) with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. San German moved-up to fourth place. Caguas will meet San German (#4) on the road in the next round. Carolina will play against the league's second-placed Santurce and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
In the last two games of round 24 Aguada was beaten by Mayaguez on the road 98-92. Bayamon won against Guaynabo on its own court 101-91.
